Concert & Orchestra

The Vienna Chamber Philharmonic was founded in autumn 1985 by Claudius Traunfellner. Charter members are Bettina Gradinger, Magdalena Kupf, Claudius Traunfellner and Marcus Trefny. The ensemble consists of musicians, most of which have won various international competitions (including the Karl Böhm contest (Vienna Philharmonic), the Anton Bruckner contest (Vienna Symphonic) as well as the Stefanie Holl, Fritz Kreisler, Stresa and Lipizer violin contests). Composition: 2 violin, viola, violoncello, soprano and baritone.

Venue

Eroica Hall / Lobkowitz Palace
The Palais Lobkowitz, built in the 17th century, is considered to be one of the most beautiful baroque buildings in Austria. Ludwig van Beethoven often made music at the palace and dedicated numerous works to his patron Prince Franz Joseph Maximilian Lobkowitz, including his Third Symphony "Eroica", after which the Eroica Hall is named.

Schubert Hall / Vienna Konzerthaus
Built between 1912 and 1913, the Wiener Konzerthaus has always been a "place of care for fine music". And the wonderful Schubert Hall, which hast hosted a lot of famous artists during the past 100 years, is considered to be the epitome of a musical hall.

Schlosstheater Schoenbrunn
The baroque Schlosstheater Schoenbrunn, built during the reign of Empress Maria Theresia, was once used as the home stage of the Habsburgs, on which Haydn and Mozart, and other great composers, conducted their work.
