Cirque du Soleil presents its new production KOOZA tent in the spring of 2014 in Vienna. The guest performance in the white Grand Chapiteau tent in Neu Marx starts on 8 May and lasts until 8 June. KOOZA is described as "acrobatic adrenaline rush in a kingdom of fools."

KOOZA tells the story of an innocent , melancholy loner in search of his place in the world . The program is like a return to the roots of Cirque du [ nbsp ] Soleil and combines two circus traditions : acrobatic performance and the art of clowns. The show highlights the enormous physical demands on the protagonists in all its splendor and fragility. The framework is a colorful mélange that emphasizes the slapstick humor . On his journey meets the innocent a variety of comic characters such as the King , the Trickster , the Pickpocket , the obnoxious tourists and his vicious dog.

"KOOZA is about human relationships in a dual world of good and evil", says director David Shiner. The name "Kooza" comes from the Sanskrit word "Koza," the box, crate or treasure means. The idea of ​​a " circus in the box" was one of the basic ideas of KOOZA.
