    Yes, you can change the concert date, but only for the same event / orchestra. Changing to another event without cancelling the tickets for the initially booked event is not possible. Contact Viennaconcerts.com at least 3 days (72 hours) before the concert in order to change the date.

  • 8. Can I cancel my already confirmed tickets?

    Yes, you can cancel your confirmed concert tickets generally up to 3 days (72 hours) before the concert. The cancellation of tickets for all concerts between 24 December and 1 January (Christmas and New Year Concerts) is possible only up to 20 days before the performance. In both cases, Viennaconcerts.com will charge a cancellation fee of 30%. You will get 70% of your money back. Cancelling concert tickets later than 3 days before the event (or 20 days before the event for Christmas and New Year Concerts) is not possible.

  • 9. What if the concert is cancelled?

    This is extremely unlikely to happen. However, if a concert is cancelled, Viennaconcerts.com will refund your full costs for the tickets. If you wish so, you will also have the choice to attend the concert at another date.

    For some events (most of the concerts) there are no numbered seats (free seating). The customers can select their seats in the concert hall, in the category they have booked.

    For some events (mostly operas) you will see in the booking form a link to the seating plan. This seating plan is just to inform you about the seating arrangement, so that you decide which category to select.

    For a larger amount of tickets (example: 6 tickets), if we cannot deliver all seats together, we will deliver 3+3 or 2+4 seats next to each other. If there are no seats next to each other, we will inform you and offer a solution.

  • 12. Is there a dress code for classical concerts?

    No. There is no dress code for classical concerts. Generally, there are visitors with both formal and casual wear. We recommend “Smart Casual”.

    For Operas in Vienna, “Formal” wear is highly recommended, but not required. We recommend “Business Attire”.

    For Musicals and Other Events there is no dress code. We recommend “Smart Casual”.

    For Events where the E-Ticket is not available (Operas, Musicals, Spanish Riding School, etc) you will be able to select the delivery method while booking your tickets. You can select between Home Delivery, Hotel Delivery, Box Office or to pick the tickets at Viennaconcerts.com Office. The information about the ticket delivery will be included in the booking confirmation you will receive from us. Tickets may be ordered months in advance, but the original tickets will be available only one month prior to the date of performance.

  • 3. Are there any hidden fees or processing Fees?

    NO. Prices for Vienna Opera tickets listed at our Website already include all taxes, ticket agency commision, credit card fees, etc. www.viennaconcerts.com charges the total price as listed in the website - there are no additional hidden fees.

    The exact time (hour) of performance is only available one month prior to the performance. However, the operas and musicals in Vienna at start between 16:00 and 20:00 (4:00 PM and 8:00 PM). The begin hour of the performance is also printed on the ticket. The exact begin hours will also be available in our website few weeks before the performance.
