Julia fell in love with her cousin when she was a little girl. One day he goes abroad to seek his fortune. No other man in the future is able to arouse her interest. She has Roderich, the cousin, somewhere in whatsitcalled. After several years two strangers suddenly appear shortly after each other claiming to be Roderich. This entertaining Berlin Operetta combines humour and great emotion, narrow mindedness and exotic wishful thinking. Popular dances of the 20s alternate with moving melodies.
